I am a retired rancher in my 90s, having operated for many years a ranch some 50 miles from Glasgow, Montana.  Hunters from Glasgow drove through the ranch and crossing a creek got stuck in the mud.

Two cowboys took a 4-wheel drive pickup and tried to help but could not get the job done.

At my suggestion, we loaned the hunters a ranch vehicle to drive the 100 miles to their families.  They returned the next morning, and we pulled their rig out with a ranch tractor.  The hunters were very appreciative.

Though there was considerable back and forth effort involved, we were happy to have been able to help some other folks in need.
